We’re Happy to Address
Your Concerns
We always like to keep our patients well-informed when it comes to their dental care and dentistry in general, because in our experience, the more they know, the better their oral health usually is! Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions our team receives every day. If you happen to have one that we haven’t answered here, be sure to give us a call and ask! We’re always happy to talk to you and make sure you know about all of your dental care options.
How often should I visit the dentist?
Dr. Skupny agrees with the American Dental Association’s recommendation on this one: the average healthy person should visit their dentist for at least two checkups and cleanings each year, or one every six months. Some may require more depending on their particular needs, but for most, two is all that is needed to prevent problems like tooth decay, cavities, and gum disease from developing.
I don’t like how my smile looks…can you help?
Yes! We have a variety of cosmetic services that are specifically designed to beautify the smile and make small flaws like stains, chips, cracks, and gaps disappear. Whether you’re looking for a minor touch-up or a complete makeover, Dr. Skupny and our team have exactly what you need to achieve your dream smile.
I haven’t been to the dentist for a VERY long time. Is it too late for my teeth?

Can you help me straighten my crooked teeth?
Yes, and we won’t need traditional braces to do it! We’re able to provide Invisalign in addition to other aesthetically-focused treatments that can correct teeth and bite alignment problems without filling your mouth with metal. Read our Orthodontics page to learn more about them.
Do you accept dental emergencies?
Yes, we are happy to accept emergency patients. Just give us a call, and we’ll do whatever we can to see you as quickly as possible and get you out of pain.
Will you take my insurance?
We will file insurance claims for patients who have plans that allow them to choose their own dentist. To learn how we can use your particular plan to help you save at your next appointment, contact us today.
Can I finance my dental care?
Yes, we accept payment plans through our trusted partners at CareCredit. They offer a variety of low-to-no interest plans, and you can explore your options and even sign up for one today by clicking on the button on our New Patients page.
